Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to cancel exact 30- or 365-day renewal, request a refund, and understand what happens to the retained shelf.

Effective August 8, 2026 · Last updated August 27, 2026

1. Trial Membership

The 7-day Trial Membership requires no card, creates no charge and does not auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. It ends automatically 7 days after verified-email activation unless Membership starts sooner.

2. Canceling a paid renewal

After paid checkout launches, you may cancel auto-renewal at any time through the customer portal linked from PerfectShelf account and billing pages or from the Merchant-of-Record receipt. Cancellation stops the next scheduled charge. Unless a refund is approved or required by law, access continues through the end of the current exact 30- or 365-day paid term.

The portal will show the next charge date and cancellation state. Cancel before that date to avoid the next renewal. If a provider has already begun processing a renewal, contact support promptly.

3. Refund requests

You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of an initial or renewal charge by emailing support@perfectshelf.app or using Contact & support. Include the registered PerfectShelf email and transaction or receipt identifier, but never send a full card number or Steam password.

Eligible requests are ordinarily approved unless there is evidence of fraud, abuse or repeated misuse of the policy. Duplicate, incorrect or unauthorized charges will be investigated and corrected. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable and are not prorated for unused time except where required by law or approved to correct a service or billing failure.

4. Processing and access after a refund

The Merchant of Record processes approved refunds to the original payment method. Bank and card-network timing may delay when funds appear. Taxes and currency conversion are handled according to the provider’s process and applicable law.

When a full refund is recorded, only the Membership grant funded by that transaction is ended or revoked. Another valid overlapping grant may continue Membership. Otherwise the account returns to Free: the public shelf and Planner remain available, while Membership presentation tools and hourly refresh stop. A partial refund, if offered, will state its access effect before approval.

5. Disputes and mandatory rights

Please contact support before opening a payment dispute so we can resolve billing mistakes quickly. Nothing in this policy limits chargeback rights, withdrawal rights, statutory guarantees or other consumer protections that cannot be waived where you live. If this policy conflicts with mandatory law or the Merchant of Record’s buyer terms, the mandatory rule controls.

6. Contact

Billing and cancellation questions: support@perfectshelf.app. Checkout is currently disabled; this policy describes the intended launch terms and will be reconciled with the selected Merchant of Record before payment is accepted.
